What is "Call for Sites"?

This is an opportunity to tell us about a piece of unused or unloved land that might have the potential for residential, commercial or open space use.

We are working on the next Local Plan, and we want to know about any potential sites that could be earmarked in the next Local Plan for development. All sites that are submitted will be assessed.

Anyone can submit a site. You need to provide us with some details and complete a few questions.

These choices will be influenced by several factors, including:

We need sites for a wide range of uses and so we are inviting people to put forward sites for:

Housing

We welcome site suggestions for the following types of housing:

Commercial

We welcome site suggestions for the following types of employment and business uses including:

Community

We welcome site suggestions for the following types of community uses including:

Energy and Waste

We welcome site suggestions for the following types of energy and waste uses including:

Designation Map

You may use this map to see if any planning or environmental designations may affect your site.

The map includes areas subject to flood risk, environmental designations including SSSI’s and heritage designations including Scheduled Monuments.

How to submit a site?

Start the site submission from the link below.

1. Use the map to find your site. Select the magnifying glass in the top-right corner to search by address or postcode.

2. Read and accept the terms and conditions.

3. Define the site boundary. 3 options area available, including freehand drawing, base map parcel selection, or upload an existing site boundary in GeoJSON format.

4. Complete the form and submit.
